Portfolio > Dramaturgy

I define what I do as a dramaturg with simplicity. I am a "play researcher" looking beyond the script and into the world of the play.
I can create art galleries that treat audience members to a visual apéritif that double-serves an engaging after-show reference. I can work to any budget, having conveyed the essence of a show through an interactive installation for less than five dollars.
My program notes are poetic cartography.
Arguably, my best contributions are in conversations with the production team. I bring with my research an attitude of gratitude for others' expertise.
I have experience with devised works, musical and forum theatre. I have been nicknamed "The Traumaturg" for my work with Drama Classes for Individuals in Recovery, Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed, Antonin Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty, and in relation to my psychology studies and prior volunteer work.
